Glass mosaic on display in the Portland showroom of Chuck Franklin Glass Studio - This piece is patterned after a Tiffany Studios glass mosaic done in 1920. It features the mosaic technique where each piece of glass is cut to a specific shape, much as in stained glass leaded work. In the early 1900s Tiffany Studios used this technique extensively, whereas before that, glass mosaics were usually done with straight edged glass tiles and tessarae.

The Background glass is Kokomo irredecant, with the remaining glass mostly uroboros glass, both stock and uncat.

Available for purchase.......$2300

Also on display at Chuck Franklin Glass Studio in Portland Oregon - Art deco design is icorporated into this four piece leaded glass room divider. The glass panels are made from various clear textures, cord and reeded glass, with a small amount of milky white art glass. A few glass jewels are also incorporated into the design.
